The Open Database License is a copyleft data license agreement that grants users to freely edit, use and share the content of a database.

The OSM database also uses this license.

Important conditions

Attribution: The content of the database can be used commercially and publicly, but attribution has to be given
Share-Alike: A database adapted from the original database also has to use the same license
